We are excited about our recent highlight from MassHousing! Here is a look at an internal release that will soon be available to the public on the MassHousing website.
Throughout Black History Month in February, we will highlight a few of the Black-owned businesses that have worked at MassHousing-financed multifamily housing developments and participated in MassHousing Trade Fairs and B2B matchmaking sessions.
Atlantic Bay Contracting is an SDO-certified minority-owned and operated full-service environmental remediation company located in Allston. Founded in 1992 by Allen Young (pictured), Atlantic Bay specializes in asbestos abatement, mold and post-remediation, and air duct scrubbing and cleaning. Atlantic Bay is an EPA-Certified business able to provide services to clients throughout New England.
“By providing our customers with the best services in New England, we continue to grow as one of the leaders in air-quality control and management,” said Mr. Young. “Utilizing state-of-the-art mold removal, asbestos abatement and duct cleaning techniques, we instantly improve the environments of our customers.”
Atlantic Bay has participated in MassHousing’s Diversity & Inclusion Trade Fairs for more than 20 years. “MassHousing’s tremendous efforts and attention to details make for a successful event year after year,” Mr. Young said. “They have been invaluable in helping us network and build our brand awareness.”
Atlantic Bay has obtained hundreds of thousands of dollars in contracts from MassHousing-financed housing developments, doing business over the years with Beacon Residential Management, Federal Management, United Housing Management, WinnResidential, POAH Communities, the Needham Housing Authority and the Newton Community Development Foundation.
